Front End Bootcamp

Well, I signed up for Bloc.io bootcamp.

It’s good for 8 months of instruction and I’m pretty freaking excited about it. I’m going to supplement it with a Udemy Course and hopefully I’ll be closer to getting a web dev job in the near future.

I really went back and forth several times before finally deciding to commit to a Boot Camp. In the end, I think it was Bloc’s mentor program that enticed me to commit. At the end of the day, I need accountability. I keep hopping from course to course; language to language. I need a clear goal, and I think Bloc is going to give me that (even if it costs me $8,500).

Class officially starts on April 30th, so I’m counting down the hours, and warming up with CodeAcademy lessons. I’ll keep everyone updated on my progress on this blog, of course.

Seacrest, OUT!

P.S. I had to Google how to remove the underline from my Udemy Course link above…here’s how to do it on WordPress if anyone is interested!
