What’s up everyone? My name is Matt Outen and I am teaching myself to code. I am currently a 5th grade teacher at Fort Bend School District in Houston, Texas. I have always loved technology and constantly work to implement more technology in the classroom. I’m sort of at a crossroads; I love teaching but I don’t love the fact that I’m basically told what to teach and I have to teach to the test. My goal is to teach myself to program by using various free resources such as the Odin Project, so that I can find a job as a software developer. I haven’t learned much yet, but I’m so ready to learn more! Join me and you might learn a thing or two.
